A share certificate is legal proof that a person owns shares in a South African Pty Ltd. SARS, banks, BEE verification agencies and investors all require valid share certificates — and CIPC mandates them under the Companies Act 71 of 2008.

Amashad issues professionally formatted, Companies-Act-compliant share certificates for each shareholder, with company seal, share class, percentage shareholding and director signatures.

    About Share Certificates (South Africa)

Section 51 of the Companies Act requires that every shareholder receive a share certificate within 10 business days of allotment. Companies without proper certificates are routinely flagged during BEE verifications, due-diligence reviews and bank account audits.

If you've registered a Pty Ltd but never issued share certificates, you're technically non-compliant. We back-issue certificates with the original allotment date — a routine fix.
